StarNanoSurvey: Spring Semester

Discover your own interests and strengths as you learn about the power of nanoscience and technology. Investigate real-life problems in our society—like ensuring our water is clean or finding cures for crushing diseases—and learn how the nano world is developing tools to find the answers to solve them. Meet local businesses and hear stories from professionals who took a cool idea and turned it into a business.

StarNano@Work: Summer Workshop

Explore local career opportunities and the college pathways that will lead you to them. Visit some of those businesses, as well as local nanotechnology programs at places like Arapahoe Community College and University of Colorado. Build your resume by spending a day to a week at a local nano business or lab, and learning how it operates. Learn what great jobs could lie in your future. Your road to a meaningful career could end close to your own neighborhood!

StarNanoSymposium: Fall Semester

Pursue a special topic related to Nano that fascinates you: cool tools, space age materials, cutting edge medical applications. Develop a personalized, multi-media presentation (yes, you will learn ways to do that!) for NanoExpo, an end-of-term extravaganza where you will share your experience with your family, community, and mentors from Nano@Work.
